Hiking Steepletop

Dates: July 1; July 22; September 29
Time: 10am to 12pm
Location: The Grounds at Steepletop

Another extremely popular tour from last season is back with expanded dates.

Description: This tour allows visitors an expanded view of the wonders of Steepletop.  The tour will include a selection of Millay’s nature poetry, much of it inspired right here at Steepletop.  We will be exploring areas of the property not included in the regular House or Grounds & Gardens tours.  Be advised that this is a hike.  We will be walking over uneven terrain, through the forest and the fields.  Some of the property may be boggy.   Please wear attire appropriate for hiking.

Meet at Tamarack Cottage Visitors Center 15 minutes before the hike begins.

To make a reservation or for more information, call Steepletop at 518-392-3362, Monday – Sunday 10:00 am – 4:30 pm or email us at info@millay.org.

Fee:  $25

For those who wish to take a tour of Millay's home afterwards, a 12:30 pm tour will be offered at a special price of $12.
